💼 Who's Recruiting at the LAA Job Fair

As of Sunday, the Latin American Association's job fair page lists seven employers: The Home Depot, the Fox Theatre, McKenney's, The Cleaning Authority, and three staffing firms, ATL GA Staffing, Barba Power Staffing and Next Generation Staffing.

That spread matters. A home improvement retailer, a Midtown theater, a mechanical contractor and a cleaning franchise hire for very different work, and staffing agencies place people across the metro. The LAA describes the openings as entry-level and mid-level jobs across basic, technical and professional fields.

Rosters at community fairs shift right up to the morning of the event, so treat the list as a starting point. No employer has announced a headcount for the day, and the LAA hasn't published pay ranges. Ask each recruiter directly.

⚠️ Read This Before You Go

The LAA is clear on one requirement: you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Employers will ask for documents if they make an offer, so have your paperwork in order before Thursday.

English is not a barrier at the door. The association says all proficiency levels are welcome, and its page is also posted in Spanish. Individual jobs may still require English, so ask each employer what the role needs.

The LAA's listing doesn't mention an admission fee, parking details or interpreters on site. If any of that decides whether you go, call the Atlanta Outreach Center at 404-638-1800 before Thursday.

Same Morning, Same Highway: Doraville Works

A few miles up the corridor, Goodwill's Doraville Works Career Fair is listed for the same hours on the same day at its new Doraville career center. Different organizer, different employers, different sign-up. Our Goodwill Doraville article has the details and what's still unconfirmed. 📋 How to Show Up Ready

  • Register first. The job seeker form is on the LAA's job fair page, which also lists an email contact for registration help.
  • Bring an updated resume. The LAA asks for one and posts a free entry-level resume template on its site.
  • Bring ID and your work documents. An offer can move fast once a recruiter likes what they hear.
  • Arrive early. Three hours goes quickly, and recruiters are freshest early.
